Why make your own Coconut Body Polish?
The fats in coconut oil moisturize while its lauric acid protects and softens skin. It’s also an antiseptic and helps maintain a healthy pH level in the skin. Whereas body polishing is a type of full-body exfoliation that removes dead skin cells, promotes cell regeneration, and moisturizes the skin.
Mix the two together and you have an amazing combination that not only smells incredible but also has antibacterial properties that leaving your skin feeling ultra-soft, while also:
- Unclogging pores
- Promoting cell regeneration to encourage healthy skin
- Moisturizing and hydrating dry skin
- Promoting blood flow with invigorating exfoliation

Coconut Oil Scrub for Hands & Feet
This scrub is a great quick fix to exfoliating your hands and feet before a mani-pedi.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil
- 1 cup white sugar
- 10 drops of vanilla essential oil (or a stronger oil scent)
Instructions
- Place 1/2 cup Coconut Oil in microwave safe dish & microwave for 45 seconds, or until completely melted.
- Transfer melted Coconut Oil to small mixing bowl & stir in 1 cup of White Sugar. Mix well.
- Add 10 drops of Vanilla Essential Oil {or more for a stronger scent}. Mix well.
- Transfer to Mason Jar, and you’re done! So Easy!

Coconut Oil Body Polish
Sea salt granules don’t dissolve quickly, which makes them a great polish for the rougher parts of your body, like the knees, elbows and feet. BONUS: it’s not sticky!
Those who have sensitive skin should skip sea salt altogether.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Coconut Oil
- 1 cup Epsom salts or Magnesium Salts
- 10 drops of your Favourite essential oils
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a glass bowl.
- Pour the ingredients in a mason jar.
- When you’re ready to use it scoop the desired amount out and use as a body polish, hand polish or foot polish.
- Be mindful that the coconut oil will leave your shower a little slippery.

Rose infused Body Polish
This DIY body polish will leave your skin feeling fresh, soft, vibrant and breezy.
- 1 Tablespoon Room Temperature Coconut Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Finely Ground Pink Himalayan Salt or Sea Salt
- 3-4 Drops Rose Organic Essential Oil
Directions:
- Simply whisk these three ingredients together with a fork for a ready-to-use polish!
- Use on hands, feet, arms, and legs.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
