Beeswax candles are one of the most premium candles used all around the world. They are made up of all the natural ingredients by the honeybees. As you know that when the bees eat honey, they produce the wax. After that, the beekeepers filter all the beeswax from their honeycomb, cool it down, and sell it to the market so that it can be used to make candles. Other than candles, natural beeswax also have many other uses and benefits.
Natural Allergy Relief:
Beeswax candles are considered as the most natural candles that you can buy. You can find them in the form of votives, taper candles, pillar candles, and tea lights. People who are sensitive to allergies can enjoy the warmth and the beauty of burning candles without any worries as they can essentially reduce allergy symptoms as they can act as an air purifier.
Naturally Scented:
There is a natural scent of honey in the wax so there is no need of any additives or colours which is a major benefit of beeswax candles, this allows us to naturally keep our homes warm and the air clean. The natural colour of the candles is yellow, which adds ambience to the taper candle.
Moreover, the scent of honey will be like perfume in the air. Just like soy candles, the beeswax candles are cleaner and run longer than the paraffin candles. But the disadvantage that you can get by using the taper candles is that they are more costly than soy and paraffin candles.
Brightening Up the Beeswax:
When making the beeswax candles, the wax used in this process may vary from light brown to white. There are a few cases as well in which the candle makers might add some bleach to the wax so that the colour of the wax lightens up.
The drawback of using bleach is that those candles that have been bleached might not have as much scent of honey in them. But it doesn’t mean that there is a scent of bleach. Bleach is also used to filter the wax. If a candle is made from unfiltered beeswax, it might contain a small bit of wood even some part of the bees as well.

Easy to Make:
If you want to make your own candles, the beeswax candles are the easiest one that you can make. The wax is sold in the market in sheets. That’s why you don’t have to bother with any additives, candle scents, or colours.
The beeswax you buy from the market is already filtered, so you don’t have to make any efforts to filter it by bleaching it. You just need to melt down the beeswax and then put it into your molds so that you can make the perfect candles.
Beeswax Powder:
As time passes, you might notice that there is some white powder on the sides of the candles. It doesn’t mean that they are now harmful. It is just a natural process with beeswax taper candles, and it is known as blooming. This powder is very easy to wipe it off, and it is proof that the beeswax taper candles are made from pure beeswax.
