If we want to incorporate the concept of elegant simplicity, first, we need to understand the relationship between science and spirituality. Most people think that spirituality and science are two opposite things. But are they really? In simple words, monatomic elements of science are all about those things that can be measured. On the other hand, spirituality teaches you the things that cannot be measured.
If we observe our daily, life, we realise that both science and spirituality embody each other. Let’s take a look at our bodies. Thanks to science, we can easily measure the length, weight, width, anatomy and structure of the body. But also, we have intelligence that cannot be calculated. Even though we can do some IQ tests, but they are not enough to measure how much intelligence a human mind has.

Another thing that humans have is feelings, like love for our family and friends. Can anyone measure love? So, the conclusion is spirituality is all about those things that can’t be measured. We need to accept this fact that some dimensions of life cannot be calculated.
There are some scientific theories like chaos, complexity, evolution, and Gaia that are very close to spirituality. Particularly, quantum physics can bridge the gap between measurement and meaning. You can say that when you put the meanings into quantity, it becomes quantum. When it reaches to the quantum level, every separation ends.
Every human body is connected and related at some energy level. That’s why the meaning of the human existence is invisible and unmanifest, therefore spiritual. Some of the scientists think that consciousness is very close to the quantum physics and monatomic elements which enhance body functions as well as spirituality. It is because, at the level of quantum mechanics, all the manifestation is potential.
The meaning of consciousness is also the same. It can be described as before the reality manifests; there is an unmanifest potential. Therefore, in terms of spiritual terminology, we can call it consciousness, and in science, we can say that it is quantum mechanics.
As we can measure the matter, but we are unable to measure the meaning. For example, there is an article of five hundred words, and we can say that it will fit on one page. It means we can count the number of words and ultimately figured out the space that it needs. But when it comes to the quality of the writing and meaning of the words, they cannot be measured. Even though we can feel their meaning and how are they making sense, but their measurement is not possible.
