Tea has many beneficial effects on the mind and body. Tea is a shrub derived from Camellia Sinensis, but herbal tea is not an authentic tea because it is not part of this family of plants. Tea is the most consumed beverage after water because of its immediate effect on the body and mind.
Black Tea
Black teas are oxidised for more than their green and oolong equivalents, producing better aromas and sturdier tastes, the most flavourful of teas. Expect rich full-bodied flavours and colours varying from dark red to black. Studies have shown that black tea might normalise cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure and reduce risk of stroke.

Green Tea
Green tea is a form of tea made from leaves and buds of Camellia sinensis, these leaves and buds have underwent a different process compared to the process of withering and oxidation like used to make oolong teas and black teas. This Tea can help with increasing metabolism, improving cholesterol levels as well as decreasing heart failure risk

Earl Grey
Earl Grey tea is a blend of tea that is infused with the addition of bergamot oil. To give Earl Grey its special flavour, the rind’s fragrant oil is added to black tea. Earl grey can help with digestion, weight loss and anxiety.
Oolong Tea
Oolong tea is produced from the same plant that makes black and green tea, but oolong is semi-oxidized, then rolled to give it its distinctive form, whereas black tea is completely oxidised and green tea is not oxidised. Oolong may be green or brown in colour, and there are huge variations in flavours. Studies have shown it may help decrease the risk of diabetes.

Herbal Tea
Herbal Tea does not come from the Camellia Sinensis plant such as black and oolong teas are. Herbal tea is an infusion or combination of different leaves, fruit, bark, roots, or flowers that belong to almost any non-tea plant that is edible. Herbal tea is believed to relieve stress, helps digestion and is said to soothe colds.
White Tea
It is not oxidised white tea. But it is commonly considered that white teas have a lighter, more mellow taste than green or black tea. Expect a colour that is yellow, dark. Cardiovascular health and skin to cell production can be benefitted from white tea.
Pu’erh Tea
Pu’erh is a Chinese fermented tea that uses aged tealeaves, some of which have been aged for decades before being used. In Pu’erh, what you can taste will differ, but smooth, mature flavours can be expected.
